Long Island Tigers
The Long Island Tigers Baseball Club has built a solid reputation as being one of the finest sandlot baseball programs in the country. In our forty-one year history, over one thousand players have gone on to play for many prestigious NCAA Division 1 & Division 2 Collegiate Programs. From the very beginning, the founder's goals have been to allow the top local high school players to be showcased as a team so they may use their athletic talents as a means of pursuing their collegiate or professional goals whether in sports or in other professions. In addition to possessing exceptional athletic ability, Tiger prospects must exhibit a strong commitment to academics and community service in order to be offered a spot on one of our team rosters. Since our inception, more than one hundred fifty Tiger players have signed professional baseball contracts and over 90% of our players have gone on to college. On average, 75% of our Senior players receive baseball scholarships each year to the nation's finest colleges and over 95% graduate in four years. As over 98% of all NCAA players become professionals in careers other than professional sports, we feel our program is an important step in assisting our players in achieving their life goals. Dedication and commitment to the development of our players is the cornerstone of our program. We feel that sole purpose distinguishes the Tiger organization from all the rest. This year, Très Bon Dry Cleaners is once again proud to be a supporter of the Long Island Tigers!
