Last Friday, the FTC released new a new report regarding best practices for washing your pets, and when I began reading it, I was shocked that they deemed certain dog breeds to be dry clean only!
The report determined that many breeds are still hand-washable, such as the German Shepherd, Dalmatian, and Beagle. However, to preserve the luster of their coats, certain toy breeds such as the Shi Tzu and Maltese, as well as Poodles and Golden Retrievers, have now been deemed strictly dry clean only.
